These little lizards are indigenous in hot climates. They are totally harmless and quite cute. Also they are fun to watch when the telly is rubbish! They are known as house gekos and we have loads of them in the house. These ones are about 4-8 inches long, but they can grow a lot bigger. They lie on the wall, often near the light, waiting to catch prey. They kill insects and mosquitos so are good to have around. This one is lying flat against the wall above the window and, as you can see, has earned it's keep and caught a moth.
